Peace Be Still: Finding the Peace That Only Christ Gives
Launching the Christmas series on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Worship Pastor JJ Toledo opened with a hilarious video of himself trying to befriend a pony named Melvin — before using it as a light entry point into one of the most real and unresolved struggles in people's lives: the inability to find lasting peace. Drawing from John 14:27, Romans 5:1, Philippians 4:6–7, and Mark 4:35–41, he built the message around a simple but probing question: why don't we have peace? His answer was threefold — we don't invite God into every area of life, we carry unconfessed sin, and we drag around unhealed trauma. The message landed on Mark 4's storm story: peace isn't about your situation changing — it's about your awareness of who is in the boat with you.
