Crossroads Fellowship Global, Inc. ("Crossroads," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at https://www.crchurch.cc, our "Crossroads Odessa" mobile application, and related online services (together, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information You Provide to Us
When you use the Service—for example, by creating a profile, registering for an event, submitting a prayer request, or making a donation—you may provide:
- Identifying and contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address;
- Profile and household information, such as date of birth and family or group affiliations;
- Account credentials, such as your username and password;
- Registration and ministry information related to events, groups, or programs you participate in;
- Prayer requests and other content you choose to submit; and
- Donation and payment information you provide when giving (see Section 3).
2. Information We Collect Automatically
When you access the Service, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Device and technical information, such as your IP address, device type, operating system, and browser;
- Usage information, such as the pages and features you use and the dates and times of your activity;
- Location information from the mobile app, where you have enabled it on your device; and
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies, and through Google Analytics, which helps us understand how the Service is used.
3. Payment Information
Donations made through the Service are processed by our third-party payment processor, MyWell. Payment card or bank account details you enter are collected and processed by MyWell in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. We receive limited transaction information (such as the amount, date, and confirmation of your gift) needed to administer your giving and provide receipts.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Create and manage your account and profile;
- Process donations and provide giving records and receipts;
- Facilitate prayer requests and ministry care;
- Register you for and communicate with you about events, groups, and programs;
- Send you communications, including newsletters, event and registration messages, text messages, and app push notifications, consistent with your preferences;
- Understand and improve how the Service is used; and
- Maintain the security of the Service and comply with our legal obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. We share information with trusted providers who perform services on our behalf, including MyWell (payment processing), Twilio (text messaging and communications), Resi (video streaming), and Amazon Web Services (hosting and data storage). These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
- Publicly visible content. Prayer requests and any other content you choose to post through the Service are publicly visible to other users and to the general public. Please do not include information you wish to keep private.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with the law, respond to legal process, protect the rights or safety of any person, or enforce our Terms of Service.
- Business changes. If our organization undergoes a merger, reorganization, or similar event, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
6. Your Communication Choices
You can manage how we contact you:
- Email. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in those messages.
- Text messages. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message you receive.
- Push notifications. You may disable push notifications in your device settings.
- Location. You may disable app location access in your device settings.
Please note that we may still send you non-promotional, service-related messages (such as donation receipts or account notices).
7. Your Profile and Requests
You can review and update much of your information through your account profile. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@crchurch.cc. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and our systems are designed so that individuals under 18 do not intentionally create accounts or submit personal information directly to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information directly, please contact us at privacy@crchurch.cc and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated policy on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
